In 1989, Jerome (Jerry) Morgan opened Mercan Group with a simple idea: immigration should be handled by people who actually show up for their clients.
Over the next three decades the firm grew from that first desk into a global network with offices across Canada, Portugal, the Philippines, Bangladesh, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates, China, Cambodia, and beyond — Montréal at the centre.
Today Mercan operates at the intersection of investment immigration, skilled recruitment, and hotel development. We've helped over 4,100 families obtain Golden Visas, brought more than 20,000 foreign workers to Canada, and deployed over EUR 2 billion into branded-hotel projects operated by Hilton, IHG, and Marriott. Every residency permit we secure is backed by a real, tangible asset the investor can visit.
